The dreaded time of the weekend – the end of SUNDAY!! Gone are the hours of procrastination, catching up with sleep…and make believe that the day will never end. Alas, all this is indeed MAKE BELIEVE.
Papers were graded for A FEW DOLLARS MORE….and there was a fair share of painful ones, which would drive a sane person to commit suicide. Thanks to SS’s support – Saw them through and was prepared in advance. Time to renew the new year’s resolution – NO MORE TEACHING!! Les Choristes – le perfect choice to end the week! Merci Beaucoup MR. Discovered there is a world beyond Jean-Paul, Jean-Pierre….how about Peppinot?
The moment when the world prepared for arrived – Yasser Arafat passed away and all the media said – Poor man, he was a failed leader… and that the Palestinians are better off with him dead! Maybe…Maybe not…Who knows? Anyway one thing seems clear - with him gone, the men who talk of peace have no one to blame…should be an interesting year ahead.
Speaking of interesting – am looking forward to the next two weeks – les crepes, le gateau au chocolat, le poisson, le filet mignon….. Bienvenue MH !!

Moi, what is all this shift to French? Is it a symptom of the nationwide mood that seems to be prevalent atleast amongst the 49% Yamericans to move out of the country or atleast adopt another one as theirs? :-)
Apparently, the red-blue demarcation aint going away too soon..I was quite surprised and amused, when my music teacher, all 70 years of age, non-citizen, etc said that she woke on the day of the result "feeling low and dejected, and then found out that Bush had won"..I wonder with so much negative energy, what does a leader do to get them positive? Apparently, he doesnt care!
Anyways, history shant be as kind to Bush 2 as it was to Bush 1, now that he has been given so many things on a platter, for just wearing Jesus on his sleeve..no wonder the Bible says: "Trust Him, for He shall deliver you beyond your dreams" :-)
But, did you also notice that these so called moral valuists and supporters of the same aka Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and the ilk had some skeletons in their cupboard..that were rattled during their virulent anti-liberal campaign? Hmm..one wonders, if the tongue doesnt know where the hand is (atleast in the case of Bill O'Reilly, both were apparently in the same place!! :-D)
