The votes were counted and there were only two contenders – just like the 100 year battles – The Brits and The French…and Brits beat the French – AGAIN. Was it Blah-Blah Blair’s campaigning or did the IOC really like Beckham and his plug? OR was it that Chirac said something incredible about Singaporean Cuisine? Too bad, M-H and Y had to hear it this way….Anyway, the French are PISSED, Shocked – ZUT! On the brighter side, haven’t the Olympics just created more white elephants and empty stadiums and left cities to cope with massive debts – Ask the Greeks! The Olympics are not the same anymore…
