Celebrating Stupidity

“You know, sometimes it is better off being known as stupid”, a word of advice from one of the fellow basement rats. Wow…in all the years, I had it all wrong – trying to put the best foot forward, working hard to understand to solve the difficult challenges…in all these years, no one had it put it quite bluntly, and with confidence. The strategy is simple –Pretend (or maybe it is real) to know nothing (I mean Zip…Nada!), and you do it couple of times and soon that becomes the way people look at it you…think of you as being not competent. Result is you end up doing things that are easy to do – not too complicated, and certainly not challenging! If it was just one person (and especially MNC), it was to be expected….but TWO in a week? Is this the new Mantra of success?? Guess Dubya is reaping the success of this strategy…..I have to give this a try and see if the Six Gods/Goddesses will believe this trick and permit an easy exit…First, some acting classes are in order.

Oui-Kende was productive: No work. Lots of resting. Hanging out with Friends. Using up weekend minutes. Long walks. Lazy afternoons. Good movies and good Greek food. Getting ready for the work week…..and looking forward to the Oui-Kende already!

if paris hilton can say without a hint of irony - i am going to retire after i get married (begging the question - from what!!!!!!), then we can safely say, we live in interesting times (isn't that a chinese curse??)

but at least, we are not the first to experience this particular wave of stupidity. I think mira bai sang about something similar - murakh ko tum raaj diyath ho, pandit phirath bhikari (that's us, by the way). that's some consolation, i hope.

Love always,
EK

by the way, i consider myself in the non-stupid category. maybe that's stupid of me.
